Two women died and one seriously injured in a road accident.

Almora: A pickup vehicle fell into a ditch about 200 meters deep, after to being uncontrollable, in this accident, two women have died tragically, the driver was seriously injured while a person saved his life by jumping out from vehicle.

The incident took place near Khau Dhaiyya in Almora district on Friday, the pickup number UK 04 CA 4761 was carrying four people including the driver on the Patwari area of Bhikiyasain tehsil of Almora district near Khau Dhaiyya on the Batula Dalmodi-Baghad motorway, suddenly the driver lost control of the vehicle, and fell down around two hundred meter ditch.

The local people rescued the injured and took them to the hospital in their vehicle where the doctors declared two women Yashoda Devi age 65 years wife Kundan Singh and Mohani Devi age 40 years wife Kripal Singh, resident of village Baghan dead. Whereas the driver Kunwar Singh, age 28, was referred to the Higher Center in view of the serious condition of his son Lal Singh.

Joga Singh 45, seeing the vehicle going out of control, jumped out of the vehicle and saved his life. Due to the death of both women, there is chaos in the families and there is a wave of passion in the area.
