The temple door of Kedarnath will be opened just earlier two day of Badrinath dham.

Rudraprayag: On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri Friday, the date of opening of the doors of Kedarnath temple was announced at Panchkedar Gaddisthal Omkareshwar Temple after calculating the Hindu Panchang. The doors of Baba Kedar will be opened for devotees on 10th May.

Media in-charge of Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee, on the occasion of Mahashivratri festival on March 8, religious rituals started at Omkareshwar temple in Ukhimath from 9 am, and date of opening the door of the temple was also declared, Dr. Harish Chandra Gaur said.

Ajendra Ajay, chairman of Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee, in his presence the date of opening of the doors of Kedarnath Dham was announce under the guidance of Rawal (priest) Bhimashankar of Kedarnath.
