Cong opposed on the incident of Manipur, burnt effigy of PM Modi and home minister Shah.

Dehradun: The anger is growing up across the country to concerning the violence of Manipur. People are on agitation on roads. In this context, the main opposition Congress party seems to be indignant against two women being paraded naked in the middle of the market, due to which Mahanagar and Mahila Congress in the capital Dehradun today raised slogans against the central government by burning effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. 

There is a huge difference between BJP’s words and actions, where on one hand this government gives slogan of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao,(protect daughter educat daughter), on the other hand such a big incident has happened in Manipur and Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have not taken any action from their side so far. Even on the Ankita murder case, the BJP government has not taken any concrete step, which the Congress party will never tolerate and we will continue to express our anger on the streets, Congress Metropolitan President Dr. Jaswinder Singh Gogi said

Metropolitan President of Mahila Congress, Urmila Thapa said that such an incident took place within 35 kilometers from the capital of Manipur, if the video had not been posted on social media, then perhaps the people of the country would not even know that so much atrocities were happening there with women.  Along with this, targeting the Chief Minister of Manipur N. Biren Singh, she said that his statement that hundreds of such incidents have happened in the state is absolutely shameful and such a silent government should resign from its post immediately, he has not any right to stay at this position any longer.
