Parvati Das will be BJP candidate in bypoll election in Bageshwar.

Bageshwar: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Bageshwar to hold a public meeting in support of candidate Parvati Das, the wife of former cabinet minister late Chandan Ram Das, who filled her nomination for the bypoll on Wednesday.

The BJP has fielded the wife of former cabinet minister late Chandan Ram Das as its candidate for the Bageshwar bypoll. Today Parvati Das filed her nomination. BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt, cabinet minister Sourav Bahuguna were present on the occasion.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also reached to address the public meeting in support of his party candidate. BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt said that BJP will win the Bageshwar by-election on the lines of Champawat by-election with more record votes than before.

Bypassing the negative politics of Congress, the people of Bageshwar will pay tribute to their beloved leader late Chandan Ramdas with a historic victory. He said that the party has been preparing for this by-election for two months. The Assembly Election Management Team had sent five names to the State Parliamentary Board.
