Dead body of 50 year woman found in a sack, cop probe.

Roorkee: A couple have been living here for the last four months and was selling vegetables by setting up a stall. The couple was emptying the room and stuffing it in a tempo on Thursday morning. Meanwhile, a women from the neighborhood also reached at the spot and on seeing her, the couple fled by the tempo. They left one sack on the spot, seeing the sack, the women informed her family members about it.

After this, a huge crowd gathered at the spot. As soon as the information was received, Mangalore CO B.S Chauhan, station in-charge, Mahesh Joshi along with the police team reached the spot and got the sack opened in which the dead body of a 50-year-old woman was found in a semi-naked condition stained with blood. Injury marks were also found on the woman’s body.

CO B. S Chauhan told that the body has been sent for postmortem. The absconding couple is being searched. He told that the couple is a resident of Amla Tehsil of Bareilly. The dead body is one day old.

A police team has been deployed to search for the couple. Soon the couple will be arrested and interrogated. On the other hand, the people around said that the woman whose dead body has been found, does the work of begging. The woman has also been seen near the couple several times.
