Paddy crop cutting has experimented at village Paduli.

Chamoli: Additional District Magistrate Dr. Abhishek Tripathi conducted crop cutting experiment on paddy crop in revenue village Paduli on Thursday to assess agricultural production.

The Revenue Department team made 30-30 square meter plots in the paddy fields of farmers Bhaktadarshan and Bijendra and collected production data by crop cutting as per rules. The production of paddy was 5.5 kg and 6.2 kg respectively in the fixed size plot. On the basis of crop cutting experiments, figures of average yield and production of crops in the district are being prepared.
