The Doli of mother Rajarajeshwari Indramati seated in the sanctum sanctorum

Chamoli: The palanquin of Goddess Rajrajeshwari Indramati, the idol of village Kumeda of block Pokhri , has been formally installed in its throne after the religious rituals today on Thursday, after the darshan of Lord Badrivishal.

Mother Indramati’s doli today went door to door in village Kumeda and accepted flowers, gifts and charity from the devotees and married daughters and blessed the devotees.

After the offered prayers to God in front of fire in the evening, a divine feast was organized and the Mother was seated in her original seat.
Mata’s attendants bid a tearful farewell to mother by singing farewell jagars and bhajans.  In this, Badrinath Yatra, which was organized after 28 years, devotees from all over the country and abroad gathered to have the darshan of the Mother Goddess.  With this ritual, the nineteen-day Badrinath Yatra of Mother has come to an end.
