Fourth Kedar, Rudranath temple closed for winter season.

Uttarkashi: Rudranath temple known as fourth Kedar, situated at an altitude of 11000 feet above sea level, has closed for the winter season with full rituals on Wednesday morning.

The doors of the temple has closed for the common devotees with the worship by the chief priest, Vedic chanting and chanting of Bholenath. A large number of devotees witnessed this moment, and Lord Bhole Baba’s mobile idol Doli left for Gopinath temple for its winter stay, Doli will reach Gopinath Temple, the winter shelter site, via Doli Khark to village Gangol, and on 20th October. This year around 10 thousand 6 hundred people had made darshan of Rudranath.
