The government has taken the recommendation of IG Kewal Khurana seriously. Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi on Tuesday gave permission to provide maternity leave to women home guards also.

There are more than six thousand men and women home guards in the state. IG Kewal Khurana is continuously making the Home Guards hi-tech and providing them the same facilities as the police.
