Women impowerment Confrence would be held in Gaichar on 7th February

Chamoli: Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami will hold women impowerment Confrence in Gauchar on 7th February, in which thousands of women from all blocks of district Chamoli, will participate. District Magistrate Himanshu held a meeting of all departmental officers on Monday regarding the preparations for the Matrishakti Conference. In which discussions were held to make the conference successful.

In the women impowerment Confrence, traditional handloom, handicraft, spinning-weaving of Chamoli district, calligraphy on rare Himalayan birch( Bhojpatra), making useful materials from Vyjayanti Mala and Lantana will be displayed. Tableau of World Heritage Ramman, Nanda Gaura and cultural programs will be organized by school children.

There will be cultural programs based on the world famous Chipko movement regarding environmental protection. Along with inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of many development schemes of the district, benefits will be distributed to the beneficiaries of various schemes by the Chief Minister. The District Magistrate directed that all preparations for the Matrishakti Conference to be organized in Gauchar should be completed on time. During the Matrishakti Conference in Gauchar, all arrangements for traffic, parking, toilets, cleanliness and security should be ensured.
