A collection of Poem based on military life, ‘Prahari’ released at Gopeshwar.

Chamoli: Rahul Rawat, the military poet, released his first collection of poem of budding ‘Prahari’ in Gopeshwar on Wednesday.

The book release ceremony organized by Kalam Kranti Manch at Municipal Auditorium Gopeshwar was inaugurated by Simranjit Kaur, Secretary of District Legal Services Authority. Addressing the function, he said that poems work to give message and alert the society. Special guest of the program, District Education Officer Dharam Singh Rawat said that writing poems in the present times is like a penance.

Writer Satish Dimri, reviewing the book said that military poet Rahul Rawat is an emerging poet of bravery and compassion. He has written fifty-one poems touching various aspects of the society in his first poetry collection. In the author’s words, young poet Rahul Rawat said that he has presented the feelings that arose in his mind while protecting the border in adverse circumstances in a poetic form, which has more of a feeling of reality than a trace of imagination.
