The EKYC of farmers are being completed at village level for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.

Chamoli: At the village level, camps are being organized, to give the benefits of the upcoming installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi to more and more farmers, the information has given by Chief Development Officer Abhinav Shah.

He said that EKYC of farmers is to be done by the Agriculture Department by February 21 to give the benefit of the upcoming installment to all the farmers of the district. With the help of India Post Payment Bank, the bank accounts of farmers are being linked with Aadhaar and with the help of Common Service Center, registration of farmers and eKYC is being completed by the Government of India. He also told that in the scheme, only those farmers who have cultivable land, bank account are linked with Aadhaar and their KYC has been completed. Such farmers whose EKYC is pending, they should get their eKYC done in the camp so that they can be given the benefit of the scheme.
