Many compititions were organize on the eve of international Women’s Day.

Chamoli: Various competitions program were organized by the Departmental Council of Home Science Department of Government Post Graduate College, Gopeshwar Thursday on the eve of international Women’s Day.

The students participated enthusiastically in traditional costumes, in the Mehndi competition, Priyanka stood first, Ankita stood second and Khushi and Deeksha stood third. In the Rangoli competition, Bhagirathi Group stood first, Alaknanda Group stood second and Mandakini Group stood third. In the Pahari cuisine competition, Burans group stood first, Ghughuti group stood second and Kafal and Tilu Rauteli groups stood third. Dr. Ranju Bisht, Professor of Home Science Department, while congratulating the students on Women’s Day, inspired them for various self-employment opportunities.
