Two died and left eleven people injured in a car accident.

Chamoli: A max vehicle rided villagers, returning to the village after performing the last rites of a woman, went out of control and fell into a ditch on Friday.

An elderly person had died, while 13 villagers including a girl were injured. Dayal Singh, injured in the accident died while being taken to AIIMS on Saturday. It is being told that the condition of some of the injured still remains critical. An injured Jaiveer Singh is undergoing operation at Mahant Indresh Hospital, and other injured are being treated at sub district Hospital Karnaprayag.

According to the information, a woman had died on Thursday in Kafoli village of Narayanbagad block. The villagers reached Nalgaon Pindar river bank on Friday morning to perform his last rites. While returning after the funeral, the taxi went out of control and fell into a ditch towards Kafoli, one km ahead of Nalgaon.
