Shotcrete machine overturned, helper dead in this accident.

Uttarkashi: Shotcrete machine overturned at Silkyara on Yamunotri Highway, the helper of machine fell down 20 meter ditch and dead Sunday last night around 8pm, according information.

The helper of the shotcrete machine, Govind Kumar, was taking the machine on the Silkyara Vangaon motorway, about 150 meters away from the Silkyara tunnel, suddenly the machine overturned, and helper fell 20 to 25 meters down from the motor road.

Govind Kumar 24, who was seriously injured in the accident, was immediately russed to the Primary Health Center, but he died on the way. He was a resident of DDhat Pithoragarh. There is a wave of mourning in Silkyara due to this accident, took place on the day of small Holi. Outpost in-charge Genwala, G.S Tomar said that the body of the deceased helper has been sent to the mortuary of the district headquarters.
