Pistol fired in two parties dispute, bullet hit a youth and got injured.
Roorkee: Over a land dispute, there was a bloody clash took place Wednesday between two parties in village Nagla Imarti, in Roorkee. There was heavy sticky fight, meanwhile, one party fired from a pistol, that hit a young man passing through the road. The youth has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition.
Two parties came face to face over a land dispute in Nagla Imarti village of Civil Lines police station area. The matter escalated so much that both the parties started using sticks and sharp weapons. One party fired from a pistol. The bullet from the pistol hit a young man passing by on the road and he fell on the road bleeding. Someone informed the family of the youth and the police about the incident.
On receiving the information, the police reached and the family of the youth admitted him to the Civil Hospital of Roorkee. Kotwali in-charge R.K Saklani said that Nagla Imarti resident Rajat has been shot in the leg. There was a dispute between the two parties. Action is being taken against both the parties.
