By-election’s Polling parties have left again for home voting in the district.

Chamoli: In Badrinath assembly by-election constituency, 05 polling parties were sent from Gopeshwar RO office on Friday morning to conduct home voting of 07 voters who were left out during home voting on 29 June 2024.

Returning Officer RK Pandey said that in the by-election, a total of 141 voters including 114 senior citizens above 85 years of age and 27 Divyang voters had applied for home voting. Under this, 134 voters voted at home on 29 June. Whereas in village Vingarh, Bamoth, Niti-Gamshali, Ganiyala and Gopeshwar, 07 voters were not found at home. For the home voting of these voters, 05 polling parties have been sent to their homes again on 05 July.
