The student union function concluded with cultural programmes at the Government Post Graduate College.



Chamoli: Badrinath MLA( member of lagislative assembly), Lakhpat Butola, as a chief guest has inaugurated the student union function on Friday. Addressing to the students, he said that students should continuously receive high quality education, this will open the doors of progress in their lives.

MLA, Butola has announced to build a girls’ toilet in the college, install a sanitary pad machine and build an entrance gate. As a representative of special guest Rajya Sabha(upper house) MP, Mahendra Bhatt, former president of the Pharmaceutical Association Chamoli Satendra Aswal announced to give five lakh rupees for books in the college.

Kuldeep Singh Negi, Principal of college welcomed all the guests and presented the details of the development journey of the college in front of everyone.

Students’ union in-charge Dr. Jagmohan Negi expressed his gratitude by giving mementoes to all the guests.

In the second session of the function, Uttarakhand’s famous folk singers Gajendra Rana and Deepak Bharatwan forced the students to dance with their songs. He kept the audience entertained till late evening with his songs like Pushpa Chhori PauriKhal Ki…, Chhakna Band, Babli Tero Mobile, Leela Ghasyari etc.
