Many problems of villagers were heard on Tahsil day by DM.
Chamoli: Sandeep Tiwari, district magistrate Chamoli, has chaired, Tehsil Diwas organized in block Nandanagar on Tuesday. In the meeting mainly complaints related to education, road, health, drinking water, electricity, wild animals, Kisan Samman Nidhi were received.
The District Magistrate, Tiwari said that 65 complaints were registered in Tehsil Diwas. Out of which 51 complaints were resolved on the spot. The remaining 14 complaints are of the government level, that will be sent to the competent officer through the concerned departments. He instructed all the departments to resolve the complaints in a timely manner. On the complaint of public representatives not picking up the phone, the District Magistrate instructed the officers to pick up the phone and establish communication.
In Tehsil Diwas, the public representatives and villagers raised the demand for improvement of Nandanagar Ghat road including Ghuni motor road, Sitel Laitala motor road, Ghat Bhenti motor road. On which the District Magistrate instructed the SDM to inspect and take action, and the instructions were given to make an estimate from the disaster fund regarding the damage to Bagwan Narangi road. Instructed NPC to take immediate action on the damage of Mokh Malla motor road.
The villagers raised the problem of shortage of teachers in GIC Nandanagar, High School Lwani and Badguna, in this context the Block Education Officer said that counseling is to be held on 27 October. After that the shortage of teachers will be fulfilled. DM has instructed BEO to make estimate regarding construction of toilet for primary school of Sarpani, damaged toilet of Primary School Senti. The District Magistrate instructed Jal Sansthan to start work in anticipation of budget, and electricity wires are hanging in Ustoli and Lwani, on which UPCL was instructed to take action in 2 days.
