Falling into the river, a young girl dead.

Tharali – Renu Devradi, 18-year-old daughter of Taradatt of village Ruisan block Tharali, district Chamoli, died Monday after falling into the river due to loss of balance while crossing a wooden bridge over the river. It is being told that she had gone to the forest with her aunt to collect grass.

According to the information,, Renu had gone to her maternal grandmother’s village Pranamati, she was going into to the forest with her aunt to collect green grass, Renu lost her balance while crossing a wooden bridge on the river near village Pranamati and both of them fell into the river.

Renu’s aunt reached the shore after floating for some distance. Hearing the screams, the villagers along with the family members also reached for rescue, but Renu floated for about 200 meters and was picked up in a serious condition and admitted to the hospital, perhaps it was too late for her life by then where the doctors declared her dead. After this tragic incident, the family members are badly crying and there is mourning in the whole village.
