Chamoli: Deepak Kumar, Secretary, Program Implementation, heard the problems of the villagers on Thursday . He directed the PWD to dump the debris of Lwan Digoli road in the dumping zone. The people, those whose fields are cut off from the Srikot motor road should be compensated soon.
He also directed the Jal Nigam to prepare an estimate for the sewerage plant of Peepalkoti. On the complaint of the villagers regarding changing the alignment of the Jaishal road, he directed the J.E, the present Pradhan and the police to conduct a joint inspection and take appropriate action. He directed the police to run awareness programs in schools for cyber crime awareness.
He also directed the road related departments to make the roads pothole free. He asked the PWD and THDC to resolve the problem quickly with mutual coordination. He asked NHIDCL to pay individual compensation to those whose land is there.
The village head, informed that the debris of the village Lwa Digoli motor road is being dumped at various places, and compensation has not been given for the cut fields in Shrikot Motor road, problems were raised regarding the check dams and drains damaged in Gadora, Agathala, Mayapur due to landslides. He directed to prepare a proposal under the disaster head.
In the meeting, the JE of Jal Nigam informed that an estimate of 28 crores has been prepared for the Pipalkoti drinking water scheme. Under Jal Jeevan Mission, work has been completed in Bemru and Guniyal and work is remaining in Syoon and Lwa Digoli.
