A press felicitation ceremony was organized in the 72nd State Industrial Development and Cultural fair at Gauchar.

Chamoli: In the 72nd State Industrial Development and Cultural Fair, going on at the Gauchar of district Chamoli, a Press conference and felicitation ceremony was organized on Tuesday, 19th November.

On this occasion, Additional District Magistrate Vivek Prakash presided and inaugurated over the ceremony. The press representatives, presenting various media organisations, put forward various problems related to the common public in the area before the related departments, present in the conference.

Additional District Magistrate Vivek Prakash, addressing the press representatives, said that the problems put forth by the press representatives in this conference, will be adopted seriously and it will be resolved promptly through the concerned departments. He directed the departments to resolve the public problems put forth by the press on priority and ensure that they are made available through the Information Department.

Fair Officer/Sub-District Magistrate, Santosh Kumar Pandey gave information about the income and expenditure so far in the 72nd Gauchar Fair. He said that for the last three days, a huge crowd is gathering in the fair. Till now, the income is 54 lakhs and the liabilities are about 76 lakhs. During the press conference, the press representatives highlighted the public problems related to various departments. Press Club President Devendra Rawat along with representatives of electronic and print media from various media institutions of the district were present.
