Speed up the installation of BSNL towers in the district soon – DM Chamoli.

Chamoli: The work of installing 74 new BSNL towers in district Chamoli under 4G service saturation is going on through the government telecom company BSNL. The target has been set to install all the towers by December this year.

District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari, holding a meeting of BSNL officials on Friday, directed to speed up the BSNL 4G service saturation work in the district. The District Magistrate said that the towers should be installed as soon as possible by employing adequate number of workers. Provide its progress report daily, while regularly monitoring the tower installation work. If any kind of cooperation is required from the departments, then it should be brought to notice immediately, share the list of tower installation works at the tehsil level with the concerned SDM. The District Magistrate also directed all the SDMs to regularly monitor the tower installation works through Revenue Sub Inspectors. Also asked to solve the local level problems quickly.

District Magistrate directed the Electricity Department to provide quick connections in the new sites of BSNL. In Sindhrwani Laga Jhirkoti Tower, BSNL was asked to resolve the problem of trees in coordination with the forest department. BSNL officials said that the work of installing towers is in progress and all the towers will be installed by December.
