Chamoli: Chairman of Uttarakhand Scheduled Caste Commission, Mukesh Kumar chaired a review meeting with district level officers Thursday, regarding the welfare schemes run by the government for the Scheduled Castes.

Chairman Kumar, instructed all the departmental officers to visit the remote villages of the district and give information about the departmental schemes, so that they do not have to turned up to the headquarters for their minor problems. He also instructed to focus on remote villages while promoting the departmental schemes. The benefits of the schemes of the Central Government and State Government which are being run for the Scheduled Castes should reach the last person and all the needy should get the benefits of the schemes equally.

Labor Officer of the district was instructed to organize camps at the block level to give information about the schemes and make labor cards of as many people as possible. Also, in SC dominated villages where there is no road, he asked to build a road and where there is no Anganwadi Bhawan, he asked to build an Anganwadi Bhawan. Along with this, he instructed the Chief Medical Officer to deploy ANM in Sutol. He instructed all the departments to follow reservation in outsourcing. All departments were instructed to provide information about online applications to the villagers.

In the meeting, all departments informed about the amount of expenditure under SCSP schemes as well as the work done for the Scheduled Castes.
