Four passengers dead leaving 24 injured in a bus accident.

Pithoragarh: From Pithoragarh to Haldwani, a roadvase bus lost control and crashed near Bhimtal Wednesday, in which atleast 24 passengers were injured and four died. Rescue operations were going on after the information of the accident.

According to the information received from Nainital Police Media Cell, a roadways bus going from Pithoragarh to Haldwani lost control near Bhimtal and fell into a deep gorge near Amdali and crashed.

Prahlad Narayan Meena, SSP Nainital told that as soon as the information of the accident was received, we have immediately sent the police force to the spot and started the rescue operation. The rescue team reached the spot and with the help of local people, and abruptly rushed the injured to the hospital for treatment.

There are 24 injured passengers were rescued safely by the rescue team till the news text, the death of 04 people, 01 child, 02 women and 01 man has been confirmed in the accident, and 21 injured have been referred to higher center.

Police and other relief rescue teams including SDRF, fire and local people were engaged in rescue work. Till the time of writing the news, detailed information related to the accident was not available, rescue work was going on by the teams.
