Kiwi fruit production training was given to farmers in Mandal.

Chamoli: In the Mandal valley, the farmers were given training in kiwi fruit production and processing on 20 January. Farmers from nine villages of Mandal valley have participated in the training program organized at Government Inter College Bairangana under the aegis of Rudra Himalaya Jan Jagruti Samiti Gopeshwar, Uttarakhand Institute of Science and Technology and Uttarakhand Government.

In the training program, trainers of Rudra Himalaya Jan Jagruti Samiti gave detailed information to the farmers about kiwi production, processing and sale. And told the future possibilities in creat employment opportunities by growing the kiwi fruits.

Chief guest of the training program/Chief Development Officer Nandan Kumar encouraged the farmers to produce kiwi and said that the environment here is better for kiwi production. He said that kiwi fruit has medicinal properties. It is in great demand in the market. Farmers will get good livelihood from the production of kiwi. गोपेश्वर– जनपद चमोली के मंडल घाटी के किसानों को 20 जनवरी को कीवी उत्पादन, प्रसंस्करण का प्रशिक्षण दिया गया। रूद्र हिमालय जन जागृति समिति गोपेश्वर, उत्तराखंड विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान एवं उत्तराखंड सरकार के तत्वाधान में राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज बैंरागना में आयोजित प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम में मंडल घाटी के 9 ग्राम सभा के किसानों ने प्रतिभाग किया। प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम में रूद्र हिमालय जन जागृति समिति के प्रशिक्षकों ने किसानों को कीवी उत्पादन, प्रसंस्करण एवं विक्रय के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी दी।

प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि/मुख्य विकास अधिकारी नंदन कुमार ने किसानों को कीवी उत्पादन के लिए प्रोत्साहित करते हुए कहा कि यहां का वातावरण कीवी उत्पादन के लिए बेहतर है। कहा कि कीवी का फल औषधीय गुणों से युक्त है।
