Chamoli: In the district Chamoli, the national festival “Republic Day” was celebrated with great enthusiasm and spirit of national unity, integrity, secularism and communal harmony on 26 January.

After being independent on 15 August from British reign, Indian constitution was adopted on 26 January 1950, so since then, 26 January was observed as the republic day cross the country enthusiastically and with great pomp every year.

In the district Chamoli, the Flag hoisting was done in all government, semi-government offices and educational institutions. District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari, hoisted the flag of 76th republic day in the Collectorate premises and administered the oath to the personnel to dedicate themselves to national unity, integrity and the Constitution of the country.

District magistrate, Tiwari said that the Constitution has given us fundamental duties along with fundamental rights, and inspired the officers to perform their duties with full devotion and work with a spirit of philanthropy. On this occasion, remembering the sacrifices of the immortal martyrs, wreaths were laid at the martyr memorials and tributes were paid.

District Magistrate, paying homage to the immortal martyrs, extended hearty greetings and best wishes to all the residents of the district on the national festival Republic Day. He also paid homage to the contribution of Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali from Garhwal region and Kalu Mahara from Kumaon region in the freedom struggle. And he said that our country and state are continuously progressing on the path of progress. There have passed 25 years since the formation of Uttarakhand state and this year is the silver jubilee year of our state. Getting the hosting of National Games in the silver jubilee year is also a proud moment for all of us. He also said that our Uttarakhand state is going to be the first state in the country to implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC).

चमोली: राष्ट्रीय पर्व ‘‘गणतंत्र दिवस‘‘ राष्ट्रीय एकता, अखण्डता, धर्मनिरपेक्षता एवं सांप्रदायिक सौहार्द की भावना के साथ जिले में हर्षोल्लास से मनाया गया। सभी सरकारी, अर्द्ध सरकारी कार्यालयों एवं शिक्षण संस्थानों में ध्वजारोहण किया गया। कलेक्ट्रेट परिसर में जिलाधिकारी संदीप तिवारी ने ध्वजारोहण कर कार्मिकों को राष्ट्रीय एकता, अखंडता एवं देश के संविधान को आत्मार्पित करने की शपथ दिलाई। कहा कि संविधान ने हमें मौलिक अधिकारों के साथ मौलिक कर्तव्य भी दिए है। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को अपने कर्तव्यों का पूरी निष्ठा के साथ परिपालन करने और परोपकार की भावना से कार्य करने के लिए प्रेरित किया। इस अवसर पर अमर शहीदों के बलिदानों को याद करते हुए शहीद स्मारकों पर माल्यार्पण कर श्रद्धा सुमन अर्पित किए गए।

पुलिस मैदान गोपेश्वर में 76वें गणतंत्र दिवस के अवसर पर भव्य समारोह का आयोजन हुआ जिसमें कि मुख्य अतिथि जिलाधिकारी संदीप तिवारी ने ध्वजारोहण कर कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किया। पुलिस एवं एनसीसी जवानों की टुकड़ियों ने पुलिस बैंड के साथ शानदार रैतिक परेड निकालते हुए मुख्य अतिथि को सलामी दी। वही स्कूली बच्चों के सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम और पुलिस, अग्निशमन, एसडीआरएफ, आपदा प्रबंधन, उद्योग, उद्यान, कृषि, ग्राम्य विकास, स्वास्थ्य और राष्ट्रीय खेलों की झांकियां खास आकर्षण का केन्द्र रही।

जिलाधिकारी ने अमर शहीदों को नमन करते हुए सभी जनपद वासियों को राष्ट्रीय पर्व गणतंत्र दिवस की हार्दिक बधाई एवं शुभकामनाएं दी। साथ ही आजादी की लडा़ई में गढ़वाल क्षेत्र से वीर चन्द्र सिंह गढ़वाली और कुमांऊ क्षेत्र से कालू महरा के योगदान को भी नमन किया। और उन्होंने कहा कि हमारा देश और प्रदेश निरंतर प्रगति पथ पर अग्रसर है। उत्तराखंड राज्य को बने 25 वर्ष पूर्ण हो गए है और यह वर्ष हमारे राज्य का रजत जयंती वर्ष है। रजत जयंती वर्ष में उत्तराखंड राज्य को राष्ट्रीय खेलों की मेजबानी मिलना भी हम सबके लिए गौरवमयी क्षण है। कहा कि समान नागरिक संहिता (यूसीसी) लागू करने वाला हमारा उत्तराखंड राज्य देश का पहला राज्य बनने जा रहा है।

जिलाधिकारी ने कहा कि आर्थिकी के अभाव में जनपद से हो रहे पलायन को रोकने के लिए विशेष प्रयास किए जा रहे है। कृषि और उद्यान विभाग के माध्यम से मसरुम टनल निर्मित करने के साथ ही मसरूम हार्वेस्टिंग, कीवी और सेब उत्पादन, मत्स्य पालन से किसानों को जोड़कर उनकी आर्थिकी सुदृढ़ की जा रही है। और कार्यक्रम में परेड में सम्मिलित पुलिस और होमगार्ड के टीमों और स्कूली छात्र छात्राओं की सांस्कृतिक टीमों सहित कार्यक्रम पहुंची विभिन्न विभागों की झांकियों को अच्छे प्रदर्शन के लिए पुरस्कृत किया गया।
