Metting of the ‘Govt P.G.Collage Teachers Federation’ concluded in Dehradun.
Chamoli: The provincial president of the federation, Dr. Diwakar Baudh, said that various issues of higher education were discussed in detail in the provincial meeting of the federation on Thursday.
A resolution was passed, in the meeting to get the federation of Professors recognized by the government soon. He said that the government should soon stop deduct the summer and winter vacations of the professors.
Prof. Yatish Vashisht, chief adviser of the federation, said that the professors of higher education should be made to do only teaching and research work. He demanded that BCA, BBA and BPEd courses should be conducted in various colleges of the state.
The senior advisor of the federation, Prof. BC Shah said that the professors regulated in 2010 should be given the benefit of Career Promotion Scheme soon and non-PhD professors should be allowed to complete the pre-PhD course while in service.
Provincial General Secretary Dr. Darshan Singh Negi, conducting the program said that a delegation of the Federation will meet the Higher Education Minister regarding various issues of the professors.

महासंघ के प्रांतीय अध्यक्ष डॉ दिवाकर बौद्ध ने बताया कि महासंघ की प्रांतीय बैठक में उच्च शिक्षा के विभिन्न मुद्दों पर विस्तार से चर्चा की गई। बैठक में प्राध्यापकों के महासंघ को शीघ्र शासन द्वारा मान्यता दिलाने का का संकल्प पारित किया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि शासन को शीघ्र ही प्राध्यापकों की ग्रीष्मकालीन एवं शीतकालीन छुट्टियों में कटौती बंद करनी चाहिए।
महासंघ के प्रमुख सलाहकार प्रो. यतीश वशिष्ठ ने कहा कि उच्च शिक्षा के प्राध्यापकों से सिर्फ शिक्षण एवं शोध कार्य ही करवाए जाने चाहिए। उन्होंने मांग की कि प्रदेश के विभिन्न महाविद्यालयों में बीसीए, बीबीए एवं बीपीएड कोर्स संचालित किए जाएं।
महासंघ के वरिष्ठ सलाहकार प्रो. बीसी शाह ने कहा कि 2010 में विनियमित प्राध्यापकों को शीघ्र ही करियर प्रौन्नति योजना का शीघ्र लाभ दिया जाय तथा नॉन पीएचडी प्राध्यापकों को सेवारत रहते हुए ही प्री पीएचडी कोर्स पूर्ण करने की अनुमति दी जाय।
कार्यक्रम का संचालन करते हुए प्रांतीय महासचिव डॉ दर्शन सिंह नेगी ने कहा कि प्राध्यापकों के विभिन्न मुद्दों को लेकर महासंघ का एक शिष्टमंडल उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री से भेंट करेगा।
इस अवसर पर विभिन्न महाविद्यालयों से डॉ डीएन तिवारी, डॉ अनिल कुमार, डॉ आशुतोष मिश्रा, डॉ दिवाकर बेबनी, डॉ मुक्ता डंगवाल, डॉ किशोर चौहान, डॉ बीसीएस नेगी, डॉ पूनम रावत, डॉ ब्रीश कुमार, डॉ नवरत्न सिंह डॉ मनोज बिष्ट, डॉ अशोक कुमार आदि उपस्थित रहे।
