One day workshop on Right to Information Act 2005 held at Gopeshwar.

Chamoli: Under the aegis of Dr. R.S. Tolia, the Administrative Academy Nainital, at district headquarter Gopeshwar, one day workshop organised under the chairmanship of Chief Development Officer Nandan Kumar Wednesday.

The objective of the workshop was to increase awareness among officers and employees about the Right to Information Act 2005 and to discuss topics related to providing information with transparency.

Chief Development Officer Chamoli has directed the Public Information Officers and Departmental Appellate Officers present to ensure transparency and timely disposal of applications received under the Right to Information Act, 2005. He said that the officers should understand the information given by the experts of the Administrative Academy in this workshop properly, so that the applicants do not face any inconvenience.

Joint Director Dr. Mahesh Kumar provided information regarding the sections mentioned in the Right to Information Act for its successful and effective implementation.
