Madmaheshwar temple known as second Kedar opened for pilgrims.

Rudraprayag: The doors Madmaheshwar temple, known as second Kedarnath of Panch Kedars, has opened for pilgrimage of this year today on Wednesday 21st May, Cancer time(Kark lagan) at 11.30 am on the auspicious time with the chanting of Om Namah Shivaya.

During opening of the temples door, more than three hundred pilgrims and local devotees were present over there. The temple was decorated with flowers on the occasion of opening of the doors. Meanwhile the movable idol palanquin of Lord Madmaheshwar ji reached at the temple premises.

The priest has Shivling the self-manifested Shivling of Lord Madmaheshwar in the form of Samadhi, and devotees first had Nirvana Darshan and then Shringar Darshan. Before this, the movable idol doli of Lord Madmaheshwar Ji inspected the store and utensils. On the occasion of opening of the doors, the Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee has made preparations for the Yatra. Badrinath – Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) President Hemant Dwivedi has congratulated all the devotees on the opening of the doors of the second Kedar Madmaheshwar Ji and expected that a large number of devotees will reach to have darshan of Lord Madmaheshwar.
