Pilot made emergency landing of helicopter, due to the technical fault.

Rudraprayag: On Saturday afternoon, a helicopter of Crestel Aviation Private Limited developed a technical fault during take-off. The pilot sensed the situation on time and made an emergency landing on the road, that averted a big accident. However, the pilot suffered minor injuries during the emergency landing and was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.
Rahul Chaubey, District Tourism Development Officer and Heli Service Nodal Officer said that a helicopter of Crestel Aviation Private Limited was taking off from its base in Barasu with five passengers for Shri Kedarnath Dham. At this time, some technical fault occurred in the helicopter, and the pilot sensed soon fault in time and made an emergency landing after seeing an empty road nearby.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the administration sent a team at the spot and the work of removing the helicopter from the road is being done and the traffic will be made smooth soon according to information.
All five passengers on board the helicopter are safe, while the pilot suffered minor injuries. A vehicle parked on the road was damaged during the emergency landing. The incident has no impact on the heli shuttle service.
