In Atal Utakrisht govt inter College, a self composed poetry recited.

Chamoli: On Saturday, “Inter-House Self-Composed Poetry Recitation Competition” was organized at Atal Utkrisht Government Intermediate College Urgam of Jyotirmath Block, in which more than 20 participants from different houses of the school recited poetry based on the topic “Environment”.

Jaideep Rawat, Hindi scholar teacher has conducted poetry recitation competition. In this, Prachi, a student of class 10th, got first place, Lakshmi, a student of class 12th, got second place and Reena, a student of class 10th, got third place. The role of judges in this was played by Mr. Pradeep Kumar, Sandeep Singh Panwar and Himanshu Thapliyal. Program in-charge Sandeep Singh Panwar wished all the budding writers for a bright future.

On this occasion, the students who passed 10th and 12th who performed well in the CBSE board examination were also honored. Along with this, children who performed well in various activities outside the school were also rewarded. On this occasion, various cultural programs including Saraswati Vandana, folk songs, folk dances, lectures, dramas were presented by the students. Program coordinator Himanshu Thapliyal said that the aim of the new education policy and “Bagless Day” is to generate creativity in students through such effective programs.

The Principal of the school, Dr. Deepak Raturi said that the school is continuously committed to the all-round development of the students. On this occasion, the Chairman of the School Management Committee, Darshan Pandey was present as the guest. A “special feast” was also organized on this occasion. All the teachers, NCC cadets and students played an important role in making the program successful.
