E-KYC found out 162 farmers ineligible for PM Kishan Nidhi scheme.

Chamoli: Sandeep Tiwari, district magistrate of Chamoli has reviewed a meeting of PM Kisan Nidhi on Monday. In the meeting, a national wide scheme PM Kishan Nidhi was reviewed, in which 162 farmers have been identified ineligible after e-KYC in the district.
District Magistrate Chamoli has directed the Chief Agriculture Officer and all the Sub-District Magistrates to take action as per the rules in order of the instructions of the Central Government.
Vivek Prasad, Additional District Magistrate said that 46 thousand 874 farmers are being benefited under the PM Kisan Nidhi Yojana operated by the Central Government in the district at the present time. On the basis of e-KYC and Aadhar link done for the execution of the scheme in the current financial year, 162 farmers of the district have been found ineligible after their income increased more than the standards.
In such a situation, as per the instructions of the Central Government, an amount of Rs. 17 lakh 68 thousand is to be deposited by the identified farmers. For which, on the instructions of the District Magistrate, the process of depositing the amount has been started by issuing notice to the identified farmers.
The farmers included in the list of ineligible farmers will be able to deposit the amount through online refund, for which the facility of online refund has been started by the Central Government on pmkishan.gov.in. In which the refund amount can be directly repatriated to the Government of India by the farmer, told additional district magistrate.
