Kanwariya devotees truck went turn over on the road 3 dead and left 18 injured.

Rishikesh: A truck was full of Kanwariya devotees, lost control and overturned on the road near Tachla on Rishikesh-Gangotri National Highway, three died, 18 injured,

A total of 21 passengers including the driver and a cleaner were reported to be travelling in the truck. Three Kanwariyas died in this accident while two seriously injured passengers have been referred to a higher centre. The remaining 16 passengers are being treated at the District Suman Hospital in Narendra Nagar. It is being told that this team of Kanwariyas from Bulandshahr Secunderabad were going to Gangotri Dham with the purpose of organising a Bhandara at Gaumukh.

SDRF’s and Narendra Nagar police team reached at the spot for rescue, the injured were rushed to hospital and dead bodies were sent for post martom. According to the information, the all kanwar were going to Gangotri to bring holy Ganga’s water. All kanwar devotees were from Bulandshahar (UP).
