Counting tables of three tier panchayat election have set up.

Chamoli: Preparations of three tier panchayat election have been completed in all the nine blocks of Chamoli district for the counting of votes. As per the schedule set by the State Election Commission, the counting of votes will start at the development block headquarters from 8 am on July 31.

District Election Officer Sandeep Tiwari told that a total of 83 tables have been set up for counting of votes at all the nine development block headquarters in the district, while 93 counting supervisors and 372 counting assistants have been deployed to conduct the counting work smoothly and peacefully. And adequate number of police force has been deployed at all the counting centers for security arrangements.
