District Magistrate reviewed the works of Jal Jeevan Mission, in the district 1134 work has completed.

Chamoli: Sandeep Tiwari, district magistrate of Chamoli Uttarakhand has reviewed a meeting of Jal Jeevan Mission held on Wednesday. Taking information about the physical progress of Jal Jeevan Mission, directed the officials to complete the schemes with more than 75 percent work completed 100 percent on priority basis.
District Magistrate expressed satisfaction over the progress of Jal Jeevan Mission in the district and directed to complete the remaining works as well. He asked the officials to take necessary action by corresponding with the officials regarding the pending schemes at the government level.
He instructed the officials of Jal Sansthan and Drinking Water Corporation to speed up the work by establishing coordination with the departmental officials regarding the schemes to be made with the cooperation of Forest Department or other department. He asked the Forest Department officials to dispose of the pending cases of schemes related to Jal Jeevan Mission soon. So that important schemes like drinking water can be completed in time.
Sushil Kumar Saini, Superintending Engineer of Jal Sansthan, said that under Jal Jeevan Mission, work on 1134 schemes out of 1241 proposed in the district has been completed. While the construction work of 107 schemes is in progress at various levels. He said that under Har Ghar Jal certification, 696 certifications have been completed in 1113 villages of the district.
