On 28 August a holiday declared amidst the weather forecast.

Chamoli: Meteorological Center Dehradun once throw forecast of heavy rain in the district Chamoli, In view of the forecast a holiday has been declared on August 28 for all schools from class 1 to 12th along with Anganwadi centers in the district.

In the district, there would be closed all government/semi government and private school upto class 12 including Anganbaadi centre. According to weather forecast, on 28 August, there might be light to heavy rain in many places of district, that’s why, school vacation has been declared for the safety of children.
