On NSS Day speech, Ankita Won the First Place in Speech Competition.

Chamoli: National Service Scheme Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Government Postgraduate College, Gopeshwar on Thursday.

Various academic and cultural competitions were held on the occasion. Presenting awards to the winners, Principal Prof. M.P Nagwal said that National Service Scheme volunteers play a vital role in nation-building through education and social service.

In the speech competition held, Ankit Mandoli won first place, Shivani second, Jaswant third. In the poster competition, Jaswant won first place, Pooja Negi second, Ankita Mandoli third. In solo singing, Aman won first place, Shreya second, and Ritu third. In solo dance, Monica won first place, Aisha Bhandari second, and Shivani third. In group folk dance, the Alaknanda group won first place, the Pindar group second, and the Mandakini group third. The program raised awareness about blood donation and encouraged youth registration on the e-raktkosh portal. The program was jointly conducted by Priya Bhandari and Anuj Kumar.
