Training program of 25 IAS, IPS and IFS trainee concluded at 8th Battalion ITB camp.

Chamoli: The training program for 25 IAS, IPS, and IFS trainees from the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, concluded at the 8th Battalion Indo-Tibetan Border Police Camp, Gochar, district Chamoli.

On this occasion, the trainees were briefed on modern disaster management equipment by personnel from the 8th Battalion ITBP and the 15th Battalion National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). During the training, the personnel demonstrated rope rescue techniques, explaining how to safely rescue a trapped person from a multi-story building during a disaster. The trainees learned these techniques practically and practiced them themselves.

This training program was crucial in providing prospective civil service officers with a realistic understanding of disaster management, rescue, and relief operations.
