People are being informed about the government’s scheme under a multi-purpose campaign.

Chamoli: State chief minister, Pushkar Dhami’s initiative, under the Jan Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan Jan Ke Dwar (peoples government at peoples door) programme, a multipurpose campaign running in the state, in this sequence a camp organized at Village Matai of block Nandanagar and village Uragam of block Joshimath, and in these programs 369 complaints were resolved on the spot.
Here, in the district Chamoli, under the chairmanship of Additional District Magistrate Vivek Prakash, this program was organised at Village Matai on Thursday, the villagers were informed about the public useful schemes of the government by setting up stalls on behalf of 23 departments of the district.
In the program, free medicines were also distributed after health check-up of the villagers on behalf of the Health Department, Homeopathic and Ayurvedic Department. A total of 218 complaints were registered by the villagers in the camp, out of which 198 complaints were resolved on the spot. Whereas for redressal of remaining complaints, the departmental officers were instructed to take action on priority basis.
On the other hand, a camp was organized under the chairmanship of Sub-Collector Chandrashekhar Vashisht in Urgam of Joshimath tehsil, during which a total of 256 complaints were lodged by the people of the area, in which 171 complaints were resolved on the spot.
