Chamoli: Gaurav Kumar, district magistrate Chamoli has chaired a review meeting on Monday of preparations for the Vasantotsav, organized by the Municipal Council of Gopeshwar.

In the meeting, he reviewed the city’s traffic, health, electricity, drinking water, and other arrangements for the fair. He instructed all officials to complete all preparations on time.
And directed the Deputy Superintendent of Police to prepare a plan for smooth traffic management in the city so that people do not face problems due to disruptions in vehicular movement during the fair.

District magistrate has also directed the Chief Medical Officer to ensure all health facilities are in place at the hospital, and also reviewed drinking water, parking, and other arrangements and directed officials to ensure adequate arrangements, and called for departmental stalls, as well as stalls for local products and women’s self-help groups, to be set up during the fair. So that work can be done to promote local products.

Municipal Council President Sandeep Rawat, informed that along with cultural programs, sports competitions will also be organized during the fair. He said that through the organization of the fair, a market will be provided for local products and a platform will be provided to local artists. He informed that an invitation has also been sent to Honorable Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami for the inauguration of the fair.
