DDRF team completed special training in mountaineering.

Chamoli: DDRF team of 26 members have formed in district Chamoli, were given 28 days special basic mountaineering course training at Nehru Mountaineering Institute Uttarkashi.

This course was organized at the Mountaineering Institute from 09 March to 05 April 2024. It is noteworthy that in view of the difficult geographical situation of district Chamoli and sensitivity towards disasters, the District Disaster Relief Team (DDRF) was formed by the Chamoli District Administration in the year 2023. This team of 26 members of the DDRF team has already completed 21 days training at 15th Battalion National Disaster Relief Team, Gadarpur, Udham Singh Nagar from 10 to 29 July 2023. This team made an excellent contribution in disaster management work during the last monsoon period.
