DM ordered to abruptly speed up the work of expanding telecom services in the district.

Chamoli: Sandeep Tiwari, District Magistrate of district Chamoli, has reviewed the work being done by the Telecom Corporation for the expanding communication services in remote areas of Chamoli, the border district of Uttarakhand.

On Wednesday, He directed the officials to co-ordinate with the tehsil and departmental officials and immediately resolve pending cases at various levels and to cover the communication-less areas with network facilities.

Over the sluggish working progress of the officials of the Telecom Corporation, DM Chamoli has showed displeasure, and ordered the officials of the corporation to rapidly speed up the work of installing the proposed mobile towers and expanding the communication service in the district. Start communication service soon in Pindwali village, which is communication-less. Private communication company Jio was also instructed to benefit the remote Dumak village from the tower installed in Kalgoth.

BSNL’s J.T.O Lokesh Purohit, told in the meeting that after the snow melts, the survey will be conducted to install the mobile towers in the village Garpak of Niti Valley, located at a higher altitude in the district. He also informed that a survey will soon be conducted in Ansuya of Dasholi block as part of the process of setting up a mobile tower, and also informed that 23 new BSNL towers have been started operating in the district and the process for operating 14 towers is underway.

चमोली: दूर संचार निगम के द्वारा जनपद के दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों में संचार सेवा विस्तार के लिए दूर संचार निगम द्वारा किए जा रहे कार्यों की बुधवार को जिलाधिकारी संदीप तिवारी ने समीक्षा की, साथ ही उन्होंने अधिकारियों को भी निर्देशित किया कि तहसील एवं विभागीय अधिकारियों से समन्वय बनाकर विभिन्न स्तरों पर लंबित प्रकरणों का तत्काल निस्तारण करें और संचार विहीन क्षेत्रों को नेटवर्क सुविधा से आच्छादित किया जाए।

जिलाधिकारी ने दूर संचार निगम के अधिकारियों की सुस्त कार्य प्रणाली पर नाराजगी व्यक्त की। उन्होंने निगम के अधिकारियों को निर्देशित किया कि जनपद में प्रस्तावित मोबाइल टावर लगाने और संचार सेवा का विस्तारीकरण कार्यो में तेजी लाई। संचार विहीन पिंडवाली गांव में भी शीघ्र संचार सेवा शुरू करें। निजी संचार कंपनी जिओ को कलगोठ में स्थापित टावर से दूरस्थ डुमक गांव को भी लाभान्वित करने के निर्देश दिए।

बैठक में बीएसएनएल के जे.टी.ओ लोकेश पुरोहित ने बताया कि जनपद के ऊंचाई में स्थित नीति घाटी के गरपक गांव में बर्फ पिघलने के बाद मोबाइल टावर स्थापित करने के लिए सर्वेक्षण किया जाएगा। साथ ही उन्होंने बताया कि दशोली ब्लॉक के अनसूया में मोबाइल टावर स्थापित करने की प्रक्रिया के तहत जल्द सर्वेक्षण कराया जाएगा। और बताया कि जिले में 23 नए बीएसएनएल टावर का संचालन शुरु कर दिया गया है और 14 टावरों के संचालन के लिए कार्यवाही गतिमान है
