Awareness program for Devbhoomi Entrepreneurship Scheme has organized at P.G College.
Chamoli: Devbhoomi Entrepreneurship Scheme of Uttarakhand Government, an awareness program was organized in Government Post Graduate College, Gopeshwar Thursday. The objective of this program was to make other professors and students working in the college aware about entrepreneurship, the possibilities of entrepreneurship at the local level and the implementation of the Devbhoomi Entrepreneur scheme.
Dr. Rohit Verma, Nodal Officer of Entrepreneurship Scheme, said that in today’s time, students have immense possibilities in the field of entrepreneurship along with traditional employment, so that a person can become self-employed and also provide employment to others. Dr. Rohit Verma explained in detail the objectives of Devbhoomi Entrepreneurship Scheme like development of entrepreneurship among students, possibilities in innovation and entrepreneurship, solving local problems etc.
Dr. Verma further said that in the next phase of Devbhoomi Entrepreneurship Scheme, the entrepreneurial ideas of the students selected in the boot-camp will be selected and sent to the proposed mega-startup, where the students will get a state-level platform. Along with this, students will be trained about financial education, communication skills, local opportunities etc.
