Police and SDRF successfully rescued 7 people, stranded on river island.

Dehradun/ Vikashnagar: Rivier Yamuna is in full swing now a days and the Yamuna river has taken its fierce form due to constant heavy rain, amongst this, Vikasnagar police got information that 7 people are stranded on the island in the middle of Yamuna river and the water level of Yamuna river is constantly increasing.

As soon as the information was received, the police took immediate action and informed the higher authorities and SDRF was also informed for relief and rescue. And Vikasnagar police took immediate action with the help of SDRF on the island in the middle of Yamuna river. All the 7 people trapped were pulled out safely, after to landed on land from just like a huge sea of water, trapped people thanked to both rescue teams.
