New education policy, is leading a new future of students- Ghildiyal.
Chamoli: National educational policy 2020 has completed three year’s time, on this occasion, Principal of Central School (KV) Gopeshwar, Ajay Ghildiyal hold a press conference, and told that there are total 1250 Central School (KV) are in the country and three are located abroad in which more than 14 lac students are studying. All Kendriya Vidyalayas are following the National Education Policy in letter and spirit to bring out the unique abilities of the students, promote critical thinking and scientific temper rather than rote learning.
He further informed that National Education Policy-2020 has changed the entry age in class 1, establishment of Bal Vatika, Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), reading has been made more attractive and interesting for the students through National Curriculum Framework and skill development and magic box and toy based teaching method.
In the Kendriya Vidyalaya organization, teachers are being trained from time to time according to this education policy. Definitely only ESE (Early Childhood Education Program) qualified teachers would be eligible to teach in Balvatika.
Vice-Principal of Peace Public School Mrs. Shashi Devli highlighted the implementation of National Education Policy in Peace Public School. He said that according to the new education policy, 5+3+3+4 admissions are being given in his school. Student-centred education, where the emphasis is on learning rather than rote learning. Along with this, he told that under vocational education, computer education starts from class one itself. Shri Vijay Prakash from Shri Guru Ram Rai Public School also participated in the programme. The program was successfully conducted and the vote of thanks was done by Hindi teacher Ghanshyam.
