Santosh Pant, secured 14th rank in NET JRF from Geology.

Chamoli: Santosh, resides at remote village Hindoli of Chamoli district, and post graduate from P.G. College Gopeshwar, has proved this right hard work of a person blooms the flowers of success in once life. On the strength of his hard work, Santosh Pant has brought laurels to the region and district by securing 14th rank at All India level in NET JRF examination.

Santosh Pant, the student of Geology, passed securing first division in 2022. Hailing from Hindoli, a remote village in the district, Santosh comes from a humble background. His father Girish Chandra Pant’s main occupation is as a priest and agriculture in the village and mother is a successful homemaker. Santosh, who is currently preparing for competitive exams, and gave the credit of his success to his parents and teachers Dr. Arvind Bhatt and Dr. Deepak Dayal, who guided him from time to time.

On the splendid success of Santosh, Dr. Arvind Bhatt, Head of the Department of Geological Sciences, Gadgad College, said that Santosh has been a diligent and serious student since the beginning. As he comes from a humble background and getting a place in top 20 at All India level without any coaching is not a normal thing and other students should also take inspiration from Santosh that how we can do our best even in difficult situation without any facility.
