Former PM birthday observed as Goodwill Day.

Chamoli: The birthday of former Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi was celebrated as Sadbhavna Diwas(Goodwill Day). On the occasion of Sadbhavna Divas on Friday, Additional District Magistrate Dr. Abhishek Tripathi administered oath to the officers and employees in the Collectorate premises to end violence and promote harmony among people by bringing national integration and communal harmony among people of all religions, languages and regions.

Additional District Magistrate said that we all have to move forward with a team spirit and never resort to violence. He said that work style improves only through unity and harmony. Late Rajiv Gandhi was also the followers of non violence just like Mahatma Gandhi, and alway dreamed and made efforts to move forward the country to development and progress.
