B.ed students celebrated Teej festival, organised many compitition too.
Chamoli: The students of B.ed, celebrated the festival of Teej, at P.G. College Gopeshwar on Saturday. Under the programme, students participated in various competitions like mehndi, traditional costumes, mask making, greeting card making etc.
The program was organized by the headmistress of the department, Dr. Vidhi Dhaundiyal. On this occasion, Chandravati Joshi congratulated everyone on Teej and said that it is the responsibility of our young generation to keep our culture, our traditions alive and to pass them on to the coming generation and the trainees will be an ideal teacher for the students in future. And can upgrade the society morally, intellectually and culturally.
Dr. Vinita Negi, as a judges of the competition, from Sanskrit Department and Dr. Ranju Bisht from Home Science Department evaluated and encouraged the students at different levels. After the result, the students placed, Kareena in Mehndi competition, Lovely and Gangotri in costume competition, Gaurav in greeting card competition and Arjun Kumar in mask making competition got the best position.
