Four dead body recovered, 15 are still missing in landslide, rescue is on.

Rudraprayag: Due to massive landslide, 19 people have been reported missing, in Gaurikund located in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. Four bodies were recovered, while rescue is on to find 15 missing people, writing the news. The heavy rains that continued since late night have turned into a disaster.

Due to heavy rain, the information of rock sliding was, after which the district administration team including SDRF reached on spot for rescue, but the operation had to be stopped due to the difficulties in rescuing at night.

After this, the rescue was started again in the Friday morning, but the continuous rain remains a challenge. District Disaster Management Officer Nandan Singh Rajwar has informed that according to the information received through police, 13 people, three local, seven of Nepal origin and three of other states) went missing due to heavy landslide near Kedarnath travel route at Gaurikund Datpulia.


Earlier, in the Friday morning, 8 to 10 people were being reported missing, now this number has increased. Continuation of heavy rains continues in Uttarakhand from mountain to plain. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rains for Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri, Nainital, Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar, Chamoli and Bageshwar districts.
